it breaks my heart that even teens think like this. i heard a 16yo saying "she too knew what she was doing, she's not a little kid" about another 16yo who was groomed by an adult. these teens think they're functional adults at freaking sixteen is heartbreaking to see and hear 💔
i think the funniest is the last one because it most likely went like
"so you're up against this one girl..."
"wait what. PLEASE tell me is not a pink haired-"
"don't worry, this one has black hair. good luck! :)"
"oh thank godARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME-"
the way it's evident she's not used to people thinking of her as her own person, not someone's someone, let alone someone speaking of her in such a positive light, vi arcane you're so dear to me and the world should've been kinder to you 💔
the writers confirming isha was made so jinx could realize what it was like to be the older sibling and why vi was the way she was...
OH I WONDER WHO SAID THAT BACK IN JANUARY
if i can add a tiny small analysis of my own...
when people see jinx and isha, specifically in this bit of s2e5, their loudest argument is "vi is watching jinx be a way better older sister than she ever was!" (🙄)
but i like to see it in a different way...
i'm so glad the heartstopper community actually learned to separate the actor from the character. i barely saw hate towards bash and cormac. it always should be like this.
o sea ellas sí pueden decir "mi salud mental no importa???🥺🥺" pero cuando son ellas atacando la salud mental de otra persona de repente es "ay, es que estoy enferma, no esperen que actúe racional 😐"? qué asco.
JUST WALK WITH ME OKAY?
s1e8
cait: what your sister did is not your fault (she blames you, but is not true)
s2e3
cait: you stopped me. it's HER blood in YOUR veins (it's YOUR fault)
vi: then why are YOU the one acting like HER (blaming ME for what SHE did like SHE does)?
