I wrote a FREE introductory quantum computing textbook! The only prerequisite is trigonometry. It's essentially the #PHY595 course I've been teaching at @Creighton since 2018.
Download it from my website at thomaswong.net.

A graduate student read my entire quantum computing textbook over the weekend, did all the exercises, and sent me a list of typos. I am amazed at the student's efficiency.
Note: I will soon be posting an updated version with corrections to all the typos that people have sent me.
IBM claims to be able to simulate Google's leaked quantum supremacy result using a classical supercomputer in 2.5 days rather than 10,000 years. HT Scott Aaronson.
Check out what came in the mail! A proof of "Introduction to Classical and Quantum Computing." I've heard your requests for a print version, and I'm working on it.
As previously announced, a free PDF of the book is available at thomaswong.net.
By popular demand, print versions of "Introduction to Classical and Quantum Computing" are now available on Amazon! It's $14.99 for the paperback and $29.99 for the hardcover. That's way more affordable than most science textbooks.

Regarding today's Nobel Prize in Physics, Section 6.2 of my introductory quantum computing textbook (free PDF at thomaswong.net) is about Bell inequalities. It ends with an experiment on IBM Quantum.
Received a heartwarming email about my textbook, "Introduction to Classical and Quantum Computing." I'm so honored to have helped this person on their quantum computing journey.
A PDF of the textbook is free at thomaswong.net.
I presented a review of quantum mechanics today. Here are a few slides covering a particle in a box, the hydrogen atom, orbital angular momentum, and spin angular momentum.
Quantum computing has enjoyed a strong culture of openness, e.g., most papers are freely available on arXiv. The recent trend of hosting discussions on an app that's only available on Apple devices is concerning. It disproportionately affects researchers from developing nations.
