David’s illustrious journey encompasses a wide array of roles, reflecting his deep and diverse experience. He has excelled as a developer, industry leader, government advisor, and manufacturer, offering a unique and comprehensive perspective on the intricacies of the renewable energy landscape.
One of David’s pivotal achievements was leading a team that developed one of the UK’s pioneering onshore wind farms in 1992, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s renewable energy journey. He continued to shape the industry’s future by spearheading the development and construction of the UK’s inaugural offshore wind project in 2000, solidifying his reputation as a visionary.
During his tenure as Chairman of the UK’s trade association, David played a crucial role in its transformation into a commercial entity, further driving the sector’s growth and influence. As a Government Advisor, he actively contributed to the expansion of the offshore wind sector through the development and implementation of policies that facilitated rapid growth. His influence extended to initiating discussions with the financial sector, encouraging their active participation in renewable energy ventures. Notably, as Managing Director of Clipper Windpower, he crafted a strategic vision for offshore wind in the UK, including the establishment of a significant blade facility.
In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the energy sector, David was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in December 2007. This prestigious honour underscores his dedication to advancing renewable energy solutions in the UK.

Recognized for his exceptional leadership qualities, Rob ascended to the role of Operations Director, where he flawlessly managed project operations, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes. Additionally, his role as an Account Director allowed him to forge strong, enduring relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and delivering tailor-made solutions.

Trevor Gait
Technical Director
A Renowned Leader in Renewable Energy
Meet Trevor, a distinguished professional with a career spanning electronic engineering and an illustrious journey in the renewable energy sector. Trevor’s remarkable story began with two decades in the electronic and electromechanical service industry, where he honed his skills and expertise.
In 1999, Trevor transitioned into the renewables industry, starting as a wind turbine technician. Over the next decade, he amassed invaluable knowledge and experience, progressing through roles such as Senior Technician, Repowering Project Manager, and ultimately becoming the General Manager of an asset managing O&M service company. This company was later integrated into EDF Energies Nouvelles (EDF EN) France in 2002.
In 2008, Trevor’s career reached new heights as he assumed the role of Head of Asset Management when EDF Energy Renewables was established in the UK. In this capacity, he oversaw the optimal operation of 27 wind farms, each equipped with various turbine models, showcasing his versatility and ability to manage diverse assets.
From 2012 to 2015, as Deputy Head of O&M, Trevor played a pivotal role in building an in-house O&M service operation department, which evolved into EDF EN Services UK. Under his leadership, this unit assumed responsibility for servicing and repairing the majority of EDF UK group assets, including an impressive array of over 300 different turbine types.
Trevor’s profound understanding and knowledge of all things related to turbines propelled him to the role of Head of Procurement & Supply Chain in 2017. In this capacity, his meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality ensured the highest levels of profitability for EDF.
With Trevor at the helm, EDF has benefitted from his extensive expertise, making him an integral part of the company’s success. His journey from electronic engineering to a prominent position in renewable energy is a testament to his dedication and exceptional skills in this ever-evolving industry.

Operations Coordinator
Before transitioning into the renewables industry, Katie made her mark in the telecommunications sector, where she honed her skills and expertise. As an accomplished Coordinator, Project Manager, and Commercial Manager, she has a proven track record of delivering successful projects for some of the industry’s biggest players, including MBNL, Ericsson, Telefonica, and Vodafone. Her ability to navigate complex projects, foster collaboration among teams, and exceed client expectations has been a hallmark of her career.
Katie’s transition to the renewables industry is marked by a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and the future of energy generation. Her previous experience has equipped her with invaluable skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, all of which are highly transferable to the renewable energy sector.
In her role as Operations Coordinator, Katie is driven by a passion for doing things right first time and a dedication to driving innovation within the industry. Gareth Jackson
Group Operations Director
Meet Gareth Jackson, a renowned and respected player in the renewable energy sector. With a proven track record of managing over 40 projects worth over 1GW, Gareth has successfully coordinated diverse leadership teams and led staff members across the UK with a focus on transparent inventory partnership. He has overseen operations of various renewable energy technologies, navigated complex agreements, and fostered a culture of empowerment, ambition, and recognition within his teams.
Gareth brings extensive experience to our team, having effectively managed assets exceeding 1GW, including onshore and offshore wind turbines, battery storage, and solar PV installations. His expertise in overseeing Operations and Maintenance Agreements, Asset Management Agreements, and planning functions positions him as the perfect leader to guide us toward becoming the UK’s premier wind turbine O&M company.
