Has anybody used the word technoevangelism before? Well, I just did.
I’m trying to convert as many people as possible to using Telegram for messaging because it is encrypted and you can use it on any device you want, including multiple devices simultaneously, which other encrypted messaging platforms fail to do.
Where is my payment for such a stellar endorsement, Telegram people? 🤔
I deleted my Threads account today. What a piece of trash that was
These add-on social media services with utterly lax guidelines for filtering out bots and spam are just a complete waste of time. It’s more attempts of using the public as guinea pigs to develop the next generation of social media services because they can’t come up with a comprehensive idea right off the bat. It’s disgusting and stupid. What a waste of god damn time.
The quality of a system can be measured by how well it responds to unanticipated events.
When did Google start giving a damn about Google Voice again? 🤔
I must have missed it. But somehow things have improved with Google Voice.
Has it been common knowledge for a while that Samsung’s Google applications are far superior to Google’s own versions of those applications, such as calendar??
I’m seriously asking. Because I’m amazed. I just started using a Samsung Galaxy s25 ultra and have been trying out the calendar app and other Google alternatives and I’m so impressed. I’ve been a Long Time pixel user and have stuck with Google as closely as possible because I thought that the integration would be better and functionality would be better and the apis would be more fully exploited etc but I think I have been very wrong about that.
Multi-Device support for many Android apps seems to suck very badly
I will try to remember to elaborate on this. 🙂 But you know who you are.
Captive portals are destroying public Wi-Fi
I am open to becoming the American Ambassador to Iran. 😀 Why don’t we cool our jets before we nuke ourselves to death.
My father, the late and great Mehdi Nabavi, was born in Tehran, Iran. My late mother, Patricia Ann Sanders Nabavi, was born in Florence, Alabama, to family from Ireland and Scotland. I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on June 11, 1971.
I feel that I could bridge the gap between our two nations very well and save ourselves a nuclear holocaust. Presuming the United States actually cares to negotiate in good faith and doesn’t want to simply dominate the planet. That remains to be seen.
But I do not want to go out like a JFK. 🙂 I would rather conduct my business behind the scenes if it means keeping my head on my shoulders. But I still want to make a difference. Which is why I would like to nominate myself for President of the United States.
Facebook doesn’t understand how to reliably use virtual phone numbers such as Google Voice for two-factor authentication.
Use other platforms, especially for messaging, such as Telegram and Signal. (I’ve used Wire also but it doesn’t seem popular for some reason.)
Does anyone have any other reliable, open, encrypted, secure messaging platforms to add to that list?
