Host an Apprentice Learning Experience

Open your doors.

Expand a young person’s world.

At Apprentice Learning, we partner with businesses, organizations, institutions, artists, tradespeople, and community spaces to create real-world experiences for middle-grade youth.

Not because young people are “the workforce of tomorrow.”

But because they deserve meaningful access to the world right now.

Why Hosting Matters

Middle school is often when young people begin making quiet decisions about who belongs where.

Who gets to lead.

Who gets to create.

Who gets to imagine themselves in certain rooms.

Hosting interrupts those assumptions.

When young people enter a law office, recording studio, hospital lab, architecture firm, restaurant kitchen, maker space, union hall, theater, university, or community organization and are treated as capable contributors—not spectators—they begin building a new relationship with

possibility.

That matters.

What Hosting Can Look Like

Hosting does not require a perfect setup or a massive time commitment.

A partnership with Apprentice Learning might look like:

  • a one-day workplace exploration,
  • a project-based workshop,
  • a career panel,
  • a six-week apprenticeship experience,
  • or collaborative learning sessions with a small cohort of young people.

Our staff works closely with every host partner to design experiences that are engaging, age-appropriate, relationship-centered, and rooted in the real culture and purpose of your work.

You bring the expertise.

We help shape the experience.

This Is Bigger Than Career Exposure

We are helping young people develop the language of work through exposure, repetition, reflection, and relationship.

Students practice communication, collaboration, critical thinking, self advocacy, and teamwork while building confidence in unfamiliar spaces. And often, something powerful happens inside the workplace too.

Adults reconnect to purpose. Teams collaborate differently. Organizations remember what it means to invest in the next generation before crisis or burnout arrives.

Hosting changes young people. AND it changes adults too.
