By submitting your work for this challenge you and your team are affirming all of the following are true:
- each member of the team is either a Bachelor of Computer Science student or second degree Bachelor of Science student currently enrolled at the University of British Columbia
- your team size is a MAXIMUM of 4 people
- you did not begin work on your project before the official start of this challenge
- no person outside of your team (as stated on your ChallengePost submission) contributed to your work in any way (publicly available libraries are OK)
- that you have not infringed upon the copyright of any third-party, whether wilfully or not
- that no part of your work is illegal or would bring this challenge and/or its organizers into disrepute
You and your team also agree that you will not make any further changes to your work until after the winners have been announced at the event or Monday 30th March 10am, whichever is earlier.
Should any of the above be found to be untrue, your team may be disqualified from the challenge. Such determinations of truthfulness to be conclusively and wholly determined by the organizers of the event who may exercise their free discretion on whether to disqualify a team or not.
You also hereby indemnify the organizers of this challenge, including their affiliates, agents and associates, and the sponsors of this challenge from any and all liability in relation to this event.
Further, you agree that selection of winners will be done by the organizers of the event and/or their nominees at their full and free discretion, and that their decision is final.
The organizers of this event reserve the right to change any part of this challenge at their full and free discretion without prior notice or compensation. This may include but is not limited to: prize substitution, prize cancellation, and challenge suspension or challenge cancellation.
Except where prohibited, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, inclusion on social media accounts and/or websites of the organizers and/or sponsors.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provisions of this agreement shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect.
This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia.
