Winners Announced Next Week (12/12) at DevNation Day Virtual Event!
Thank you once again to all the CodeShift hackathon participants. We hope you enjoyed learning how to develop cloud-native apps with Red Hat's application platform.
We are overwhelmed by the quality of the submissions. Our judges have their hands full trying to decide which applications will win the $70k in cash prizes.
As a reminder, we will be announcing the winners next Tuesday, December 12th @ 10 AM EST during the keynote of the DevNation Day: Modern App Dev virtual event.

Office Hours #5 - OpenShift Pipelines for CI/CD and Q&A
We held our 5th office hours today. Here is a link to the recording.

- 11 days to the submission deadline, 415+ registrants, active Slack channel
- clarification on application judging criteria for "Red Hat/Intel Integration"
- Other than the app having to be deployable on OpenShift (or Kubernetes alternative), you don't have to use Red Hat or Intel exclusively. 1 of the 5 judging criteria is "Red Hat/Intel technology integration" so we are incentivizing participants to use 1 or more RH/Intel technologies for a better overall score. Attention: Instructions on how to install Kafka on the Developer Sandbox
We have had a lot of participants ask how they can utilize Kafka on the hosted Developer Sandbox. Due to permission issues, users are not able to add new operators to install Kafka. We have identified a workaround solution for this outlined below.
