Contribee was founded in Lithuania in 2020 with a simple but powerful idea: to help creators turn their passion into sustainable income — locally and transparently.
At that time, global platforms like Patreon or Buy Me a Coffee charged high fees and didn’t meet the needs of local creators. We decided to change that by creating an alternative built in Europe, for European and worldwide creators — one that respects local audiences, supports multiple languages, and keeps 0% fees for creators.
From our first creators in the Baltics, Contribee has grown into a platform trusted by thousands of artists, educators, journalists, athletes, and nonprofits across Europe and beyond. In 2025, we launched Contribee Ukraine, expanding our mission to empower creators in new regions while keeping the same values of transparency and fairness.
Today, our small but passionate team continues to build tools that make content monetization easy, fair, and community-driven.

We believe that creators shouldn’t lose a big part of their income to global corporations or face barriers because of their location.
