IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE READ!
Welcome to Hackabyte's 2025 Fall Hackathon! This hackathon will be a 2-day event (date: October 4th-5th). Further updates regarding any changes to date and time will be sent via email. We are sponsored by numerous companies, such as Desmos and Art of Problem Solving. So what is the hackathon all about? We will be giving students a topic that we want to see their project answer. The project can be anything, from datasets to apps and websites to GitHub repositories. We accept all projects as they will be graded based on creativity and implementation. After the hackathon's central theme is presented, participants will have to form teams and come up with a creative solution that addresses this theme. For example, if the theme is related to health, then the project that I code may be a mobile app that recommends workouts. This hackathon is meant for all skill levels and students above the age of 8, as we will be guiding students throughout the entire process. If you are concerned of your experience, no worries! We will be providing personal 1 on 1 help throughout the entire process and constant oversight. Throughout the event, there will be fun challenges, educational presentations, and much more. The event will conclude with each group presenting their projects to judges, where the most innovative solutions receive prizes and the taste of sweet, sweet victory. The hackathon will start at 11am on October 4th and will end at 4 pm on October 5th. This hackathon will be only be online. If there is any concern regarding this policy, please email us and let us know.
