Actually, it was restored in 3.9 (python/cpython#20780) and master/3.10 (python/cpython#20117):
https://bugs.python.org/issue36543#msg371210 But it remains deprecated. Perhaps do this? Module name: xml.etree.cElementTree
Rationale: Obsolete, use xml.etree.ElementTree
Date: 2019-04-06
Documentation: Documented as deprecated since 3.3
