Yes! I was just trying to debug why an MCP server that worked in VS Code wasn’t working with Zed, and I believe this is why.

I'd appreciate running the whole agent on a remote machine: I want to let the agent act and close the laptop sometimes.

But of course, it should be configured flexibly, I don't see an ideal setup that fits everyone

I feel like this might work better to have the mcp server locally. However, maybe enable tunnelling local mcp server with remote development environment (This might work with http-typed MCP).

With this way, we can setup once in the working device, and bring it to anywhere for development
