Pasting an Image in Agent Message Editor Inserts Image at End, Not at Cursor.

Reproduction steps

1. Open the agent panel
2. Type something
3. Put the cursor at the start (or in the middle)
4. Paste an image from the clipboard

Current: Image is inserted at the end.
Expected: Image is inserted at cursor position.

Hey @dastrobu thanks for the report! This likely broke with #47768, but I’m not sure. Either way, I think the changes in that PR are sound, but it now makes it so that images always end up snapping to the end of your message.

Question is -- what benefit do you gain by being able to add your pills (images symbols, text selection) where your cursor is? To the LLM you are talking to, it doesn’t make a difference unless your prompt explicitly says something like that, but even then I’ve seen the LLM be “smart” enough to pick up on context fed to it.

@yeskunall as you have already fixed this, I probably don't need to elaborate on the benefits of inserting something at cursor position 😉
