Creativity comes with imagination, and I usually go for an abstract, experimental approach to my work. For my printmaking I’ve done some linoblock printing that’s focused on shapes that combine in compositions that I hope work together in terms of colour, line and arrangement. Here’s a few I’ve created recently and since it’s National Creativity Day today, I thought I’d share them.

Sequence Print

Added the negative effect to this so lines and shapes seem clearer.

This one is quite vibrant and it’s another effect I added from image editing software. Almost gives it an interesting glasswork effect.

Rabbit Moon. I like how the rabbit form fits well in the moon shape and it goes well with the dark blue background.
Hope you have found something creative to do today and where I am it’s really sunny so maybe it’s good weather where you are and you’re out drawing, painting or sketching the coast or a landscape.

The style of the

Creating a form using a profile curve and the blend surface tool to model seating was an idea that came naturally to me as I’m interested in furniture design. The form would have an organic look with rounded corners and Rhinoceros CAD allows me to achieve this.
