Join Google’s Gemini API Developer Competition for your chance to win a Delorean (+ a share of $1M in prizes!)
Thank you for participating in our Google AI Hackathon with Devpost! Google just launched another competition: The Gemini API Developer Competition, which runs until August 12th.
Our challenge is simple: build a new app or integrate the Gemini API into an existing app to showcase the power of generative AI. You don't get Christopher Lloyd announcing a developer competition every day!
Feel free to submit the same app you built for the Google AI Hackathon, but we encourage you to make some updates or enhancements to further highlight the capabilities of the Gemini API.

There are only two days remaining in the hackathon submission period. We are eager to have the judges review your projects and wanted to send a few gentle reminders!
1. For low code submissions, don't forget your second video. One 3-minute video demonstrating your application, and one 5-minute video demonstrating your use of low-code tools. Google AI Hackathon - Sharing Code Repositories
Hello Google AI Hackathoners!
We've received several questions regarding the need to share the code repository. For a significant amount of hackathons managed by Devpost, we typically require the code repo to be public, or if it is private at the bare minimum you must include testing instructions and share them with testing@devpost.com
The reason we need to make sure we have a way for judges to access the API keys is for testing purposes. If anyone feels as though their project has been copied or infringed upon, please let us know ASAP, but this policy is in place…almost 2 years ago

We want to provide some clarifications on the “Most Impressive Low-Code Implementation” category:

Starting a submission is a good way to make sure that your app meets the requirements. There’s nothing worse than getting to the deadline, only to realize that you’re missing a key component.
