Charalampos Kioulos, Babis for short, has his new bouzouki workshop in New Port Richey, Florida (USA) since 2026. He was formally based in Brooklyn for 2 decades prior to that, with a small stint in Greece during 2021-2024.

Since the early 2000s Babis Kioulos has built many professional grade bouzoukis and also has provided maintenance and repair services for the instruments of local and overseas customers.

At each chance you will find him at his workshop, working hard and putting in the extra hours, towards the construction of new bouzoukis. Babis passionate handcrafting of these instruments results in great sounding quality instruments, that also look great.

The quality of the woods and inlays we use is top grade, yet our prices for our instruments are very competitive.

Kioulos has been operating from Brooklyn, New York since the 2000s, and had moved to Greece for a couple of years in 2021, where he continued to work on bouzoukis in Lakonia and then in a workshop in Athens. He then chose to return back to Brooklyn in 2024 before deciding to give Florida a try in 2026.

Κατασκευαστής και επισκευαστής ελληνικών μπουζουκιών, πλέον εγκατεστημένος στο New Port Richey, Φλόριντα, ΗΠΑ, από το 2026.

Ο Kioulos δραστηριοποιείται από τη δεκαετία του 2000 στο Μπρούκλιν της Νέας Υόρκης, ενώ το 2021 μετακόμισε για μερικά χρόνια στην Ελλάδα, όπου συνέχισε να εργάζεται πάνω σε μπουζούκια στη Λακωνία και στη συνέχεια σε εργαστήριο στην Αθήνα. Έπειτα επέλεξε να επιστρέψει στο Μπρούκλιν το 2024, πριν αποφασίσει να μετακομίσει στη Φλόριντα το 2026.

Τα τελευταία χρόνια ο Μπάμπης έχει φτιάξει πολλά επαγγελματικά μπουζούκια και έχει προσφέρει υπηρεσίες συντήρησης μουσικών οργάνων, για ντόπιους μουσικούς καθώς και πελάτες απ’ το εξωτερικό.

Σε κάθε ευκαιρία θα τον βρείτε στο εργαστήρι του, να δουλεύει σκληρά και με πολύ μεράκι για την χειροποίητη κατασκευή μπουζουκιών, με τελικό αποτέλεσμα όργανα που να έχουν καλό ήχο, να παίζουν με ευκολία και με ωραία εμφάνιση.

Επίσης θα διαπιστώσετε πως οι τιμές μας είναι πολύ λογικές, καθώς και η υψηλή ποιότητα των υλικών (ξύλων, φιγούρων).
