Here we are to October.
More pages of my day in London.
I am not even scraping all the pictures I took.

This bathroom was so modern in St. Paul's Cathedral.

September's Scrapbooking Pages

I have been thinking for six weeks that I had only
finished 4 pages in September.
So I was pleasantly surprised as I was looking through the pictures of my pages that I actually did 7 pages!!
So, I am one ahead! Not 2 behind!!

More pictures of our hotel.

August's Scrapbooking Pages

I am obviously a little behind in posting
my scrapbooking progress for this year!
In August I made all 6 pages for the month,
even with spending five days in Florida.
Still on target, with 48 pages done!

At the Detroit airport heading to London.

Finished!!!

I can't believe I have waited a whole month to make this post.
On October 12, at 130 in the early morning, I put the last stitch in Nikki's stocking!

As I unrolled it from the frame it was on,
I was surprised at how long it was.
And here it is!

Image

I don't know why it looks so tan here, maybe it is because
I took a picture at night.

The next day, Saturday I took it to The Attic Needlework shop to have it sent to the lady who makes it into a stocking.
The sales girl was afraid I was too late getting it in. She said if I didn't a call on Tuesday, it was sent off OK.
If I do it will be too late for Christmas.
I never received a call on Tuesday, so I was on time.
Now to wait for the call that it is finished!

While in the shop I remembered to take a picture of the back.

Image

That is something I like to do, just for fun to see how the backs look.
The underside always reminds me of the poem,

The Weaver,
by Grant Colfax Tullar

My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me.
I cannot choose the colors
He weaveth steadily.

Oft’ times He weaveth sorrow;
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper,
And I the underside.

Not ’til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly,
Will God unroll the canvas
And reveal the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the weaver’s skillful hand,
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

He knows, He loves, He cares;
Nothing this truth can dim.
He gives the very best to those
Who leave the choice to Him.

July's Scrapbook pages

What a busy month! We went on a trip to Florida to visit my husband's sister, who lives there, and his sister, who lives by us.
We had a lovely trip!
Here are my four pages for July. I was short on my goal of 6
for this month, but since I had 2 extra in February.
I am still on track.
I have 42 pages done!

This was from the end of the trip.
I don't do pages in sequence just how I feel like working on.
