From May 5 to May 28, our turnaround times for new orders may be a little longer than usual while we work on a label back-catalog remastering project. Dismiss
Skip to contentNeptune Mastering works with artists, producers, and labels to deliver mastering, stem mastering, lacquer disc cutting, vinyl mastering, and audio restoration without losing the character of the mix. The focus is always on translation, impact, and preserving what makes the record feel like itself.
Neptune is run by Patrick Gharapetian, also known as Patrick DSP. His background as a DJ, producer, and engineer shapes the way he hears music, especially how it translates on real systems, in real spaces, and on the dance floor.
The studio is built around a carefully curated analogue and digital chain, chosen for tone, control, and musicality. That attention carries through every stage of the work, from final mastering to restoration and lacquer cutting, always with the intention of the music in mind.
Your music already has a point of view. Mastering is there to help it translate and land the way it was meant to.
The goal is to preserve the life of the song while making sure its intention reaches the listener. With over 30 years of listening, engineering, and working with records in the real world, the focus is on what truly moves, not just what measures well.
Every master is shaped around the style, energy, and character of the music, with direct communication throughout the process. A great master does more than sound polished. It holds onto the character of the mix, translates properly, and makes the music feel the way it should.
Masters that hold up everywhere.
Balanced, reliable, and ready to translate from earbuds and headphones to club systems, cars, and larger playback setups.
Punch, weight, and movement where it matters.
Masters shaped to give your music energy, depth, and presence without flattening what makes it work.
Polish without losing personality.
Clarity and refinement that support the mix, while keeping the tone, attitude, and identity of the record intact.
The studio has a carefully curated analogue and digital chain, chosen for tone, control, and translation.
It works because it’s paired with experience, a trained ear, and thousands of small decisions made in service of the music. Browse the full equipment list below.
Neptune Mastering offers mastering, stem mastering, post-production, restoration, studio design, and consulting.
We love all aspects of sound, and we enjoy working with independent artists and labels. We keep communication clear, the process straightforward, and the experience solid from start to finish.
High-fidelity mastering for artists and labels, both local and remote. The focus is on translation, punch, clarity, and musicality, with masters that hold together on real-world systems without losing the character of the mix.
Album and EP mastering, CD masters, and vinyl premasters are also available.
Stem mastering gives more control when a stereo mix is not enough. Working from a small set of grouped stems makes it possible to make targeted adjustments without reopening the full mix.
It is a strong option when a track is close, but still needs a little more flexibility than standard mastering allows.
Lacquer cutting is where a recording becomes physical. Your master is cut into real grooves on a lacquer disc using our in-house lathe, creating the source used for the metalwork and final pressing process.
If you are pressing elsewhere but want the Neptune sound on the cut, lacquer-only cutting is available, too.
Careful restoration for recordings that need cleanup without losing their character. This can include reducing noise, clicks, crackle, hum, distortion, and other issues while keeping the original material feeling natural and intact.
Honest, practical feedback on your mix before mastering. Useful when a track is close but still needs a few improvements before it is ready to move on.
Acoustic measurement, consultancy, and studio design for music and listening spaces. Whether you are building from scratch or improving an existing room, the goal is to help you understand what you are hearing and how to make the space work better.
