If you're into sailing and looking for a great place to meet other enthusiasts, then Rush Sailing Club might just be the perfect spot for you! The clubhouse is packed with a wide range of facilities, including spacious changing rooms and showers including wheelchair accessible shower and bathroom. After a long day out on the water, there's nothing quite like enjoying a pint, or catching up with friends at our welcoming bar. And if you're feeling competitive, the snooker room is the perfect place to show off your skills and challenge your fellow sailors to a friendly game. So if you're looking for a place to call home and connect with other passionate sailors, the Rush Sailing Club has got you covered!
We've got a number of different dinghies for training, and we even offer courses for beginners during the summer. Our skippers are always on the lookout for some crew members to join them for racing or cruising. And hey, if you're not really into racing, we've got a 'Just Sailing' program too - no pressure!
The fun doesn't stop in the winter either - we've got a chill series of Laser dinghy racing every Sunday. Our main season runs from early April (when the cruisers lift in) to late October (when they lift out again). Currently, we're all about dinghy racing, particularly the Mermaid class. Our fleet of these 17ft clinker built wooden dinghies is super competitive.
Oh, and if you're into cruisers, you'll definitely want to check out the estuary. There are tons of them moored up, or over-wintering in our spacious, serviced boat yard. Some of our members even take their cruisers to explore the Islands, continental Europe, and beyond. We've got some serious competitors here too, racing their cruisers at national and international levels. Come check us out!
