Terms Of Service

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the T.LY website (the “Website”), accessible at https://t.ly, and any related T.LY services, including short links, QR codes, link management, analytics, APIs, browser extensions, and custom domains (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using T.LY, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Intellectual Property

Except for content you own, T.LY and/or its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in and to the content, features, and functionality available through the Service. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use T.LY for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or prohibited purpose. You are responsible for each URL, destination, redirect, landing page, QR code, custom domain, campaign, message, and piece of content you create, submit, share, or route through the Service. Specifically, you are restricted from using T.LY to shorten URLs or otherwise distribute content that:

  • Redirects to other URL shorteners.
  • Redirects to malicious, deceptive, illegal, gambling, or spam content.
  • Scams, defrauds, misleads, or attempts to obtain money, credentials, personal information, payment information, crypto assets, or account access by deception.
  • Imitates another person, brand, company, government agency, financial institution, platform, login page, payment page, security notice, or support flow without authorization.
  • Delivers malware, harmful code, unwanted software, drive-by downloads, exploit kits, or technical support scams.
  • Contains or promotes nudity, sexually suggestive material, or adult content.
  • Leads to dating websites or adult services.
  • Promotes hate speech, harassment, threats, or violence.
  • Encourages or depicts self-harm or excessive violence.
  • Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
  • Defames, misleads, deceives, or defrauds users.
  • Engages in phishing or deceptive practices.
  • Uses cloaking, link rotation, chained redirects, evasive redirects, or other techniques to hide the final destination or bypass safety systems.
  • Violates applicable laws or regulations.

You must not:

  • Harvest or collect data (including IP addresses or device info) without express user consent.
  • Publish or redistribute any Service material elsewhere.
  • Commercialize, sublicense, or resell any part of the Service.
  • Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) without prior authorization.
  • Access restricted areas without permission.
  • Test, probe, bypass, overload, or evade T.LY’s abuse prevention, rate limiting, security, filtering, or monitoring systems.
  • Continue to create, share, or route substantially similar links after T.LY has warned, disabled, removed, or restricted links, domains, campaigns, or accounts.

T.LY reserves the right, but has no obligation, to review, monitor, scan, warn on, block, disable, remove, quarantine, throttle, or restrict any link, destination, custom domain, account, API token, campaign, QR code, or content at our sole discretion. We may take action before or after a link is reported, and we may do so without notice when we believe there is a safety, legal, security, reputational, operational, or policy risk.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must promptly notify T.LY of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity in your account.

5. User Content

By submitting or displaying content through the Service (“Your Content”), you grant T.LY a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, analyze, scan, display, route, redirect, disable, preserve, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate, secure, enforce, improve, and provide the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and share Your Content.
  • Your Content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • Your Content, destination URLs, redirects, custom domains, campaigns, QR codes, and use of the Service comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
  • You will not use the Service to deceive, harm, scam, phish, impersonate, or defraud anyone.

T.LY is not the publisher, author, creator, seller, operator, sponsor, or owner of user-submitted destination URLs or third-party websites reached through short links. T.LY does not endorse, verify, control, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any third-party destination, offer, file, product, service, statement, transaction, login page, payment page, download, or content reached through the Service.

T.LY reserves the right to remove or disable access to any content at any time, without notice.

6. Safety Checks and Abuse Response

T.LY takes abuse seriously and uses commercially reasonable efforts to detect, block, disable, and respond to phishing, scams, malware, fraud, spam, impersonation, and other harmful activity. These efforts may include automated detection, AI review, third-party security providers, public and private blocklists, manual review, user reports, rate limits, account restrictions, domain restrictions, warning pages, and cooperation with law enforcement or affected third parties.

No safety system catches every bad link. T.LY does not promise that every short link, QR code, destination URL, custom domain, or third-party website is safe, accurate, lawful, available, or free from harmful content. You should not rely on T.LY as your only safety check before clicking a link, entering information, downloading files, sending money, or completing a transaction.

7. Third-Party Destinations and Transactions

The Service may redirect you to websites, apps, files, services, offers, or content owned or operated by third parties. You access third-party destinations at your own risk. T.LY is not responsible for losses, damages, claims, charges, transactions, identity theft, credential theft, malware infections, business interruption, reputational harm, or other injury arising from third-party destinations, user-submitted URLs, or content routed through the Service.

Any transaction, communication, login, download, purchase, donation, investment, payment, account change, or other interaction between you and a third party is solely between you and that third party.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. T.LY makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the operation, availability, safety, accuracy, reliability, legality, or security of the Service, any short link, any QR code, any destination URL, any custom domain, any user content, or any third-party website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, T.LY disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, quiet enjoyment, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, T.LY, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, security incidents, identity theft, fraud losses, scam losses, phishing losses, malware, unauthorized account access, or damages arising from third-party websites, user-submitted URLs, QR codes, custom domains, redirects, or content routed through the Service, even if T.LY has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, T.LY’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid T.LY for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, T.LY’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless T.LY and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, settlements, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the Service.
  • Your URLs, destination pages, redirects, custom domains, campaigns, QR codes, user content, or third-party services.
  • Any scam, phishing, fraud, malware, impersonation, spam, deceptive practice, illegal activity, data collection, transaction, or user harm connected to content you create, submit, share, route, or control through the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or any third-party right.
  • Your failure to obtain required consents, permissions, licenses, or authorizations.

11. Modifications to Terms

T.LY may revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination and Enforcement

T.LY reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable laws. We may disable links, QR codes, domains, API access, or accounts; preserve relevant records; investigate suspected abuse; and disclose user data, URLs, destination information, IP addresses, usage history, account information, payment identifiers, and related records to law enforcement, regulators, security researchers, affected platforms, affected brands, payment processors, hosting providers, domain registrars, infrastructure providers, or other third parties when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to investigate, prevent, stop, or respond to abuse, fraud, phishing, malware, security incidents, legal claims, or legal obligations.

13. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
Example: If you are billed on the 10th of each month and cancel on April 25th, you will retain access until May 10th.

14. Refund Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, you may request a full refund for a renewed subscription within two (2) calendar days of the renewal date by contacting T.LY support.

15. No Waiver

T.LY’s decision not to enforce any provision of these Terms in one situation does not waive our right to enforce that provision later. Any delay or failure to act against one violation does not prevent T.LY from acting against the same or similar violations later.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Assignment

T.LY may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms without notice. You may not transfer your rights without prior written consent from T.LY.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and T.LY regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior understandings.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located within the United States for the resolution of any disputes.
