The Why
Many of us start with a BIG dream of what we want to be when we grow up. We see something and picture that as who we want to be. The problem is that the journey to convert those dreams into reality is incredibly difficult to navigate. This is especially true as you get older and the responsibility list grows. What if we could use what we already know in the world of education to help empower learners (and others) to confidently navigate their career journey?
Think Skill Tools is here to address that need – keeping career path learning easy, simple, and fun.
The Mission
Our mission is three fold:
To make life skill building (in any learning space) the norm.
To offer transferable and life skill building resources, created by innovative educators, that are affordable and accessible.
To teach advanced strategies that help people identify their skills and leverage them to stay marketable in the workforce.
The Vision
We create affordable K-12 unit studies and resources that focus on both employability and transferable skill building. Our resources empower all learners to enter (and remain in) the workforce, with confidence.

What Resource Is Best For My Student?
This is generally what we follow:
- Career Discovery: Ages 5-11
- Career Exploration: Ages 11-14
- Career Readiness: Ages 15+
This is not a hard and fast rule! Remember, career exploration is a fluid process. It is very personalized to the person going through that self-discovery journey of answering the question, “what do I want to be when I grow up?” All of our free (and paid) resources are designed to be flexible to the learner to create a space where it’s ok to ask questions and dream big!
If after using these resources, your learner walks away feeling empowered to make informed career related decisions….you did your job as a career coach! You also picked the right resource!
