Hello everyone.  We have a New Inspired by...Challenge #IB385 and this week it's April Showers May Flowers.  So fun and a New card Sketch. I hope you join us! You have about 1 week.

Let's Get Started:

Image

Image

Here's how I was inspired: I love the colors, Umbrella theme, and card sketch.

I chose to use a  C.C. Designs stamp called Umbrella Swissie it's a retired stamp, but is one of my favorites. I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock 110 pounds.  I colored her with Copic markers and OLO Markers. I then fussy cut her out. I also cut out some pattern paper from Lawn Fawn that looked like rain to me.  I cut it like the card sketch.

Image

I stamped a sentiment from Technique Junkies Rain sentiments stamp set over my pattern paper with Versafine Onyx ink.  I glued my sentiment and girl to a A2 card panel 4 x 4/4 x 5 1/2 an then to a white top folding matching card base.  I used a gray marker to draw ground for my girl and used a white gel pen for some white pen accents.  I love my card I think its clean and simple.  I like this card sketch for CAS.

Hello everyone.  I'm so excited for this weeks challenge at Inspired by...as usual they are all so fun. I love this week Balloons they are just so Happy and this weeks card sketch...I love it.

Okay let's get started:

Image

Image

Well I was inspired by the Balloons, Colors, and Card Sketch.  I made this really easy card It felt like it  took me 10 mins lol.  It's so cute too.  I used Not 2 Shabby Shop for the Make A Wish Paper Pack and Make A Wish Ephemera.  I Tried to mimic the sketch so I cut out a piece of pattern paper and I had a stitched piece already ready for me from a previous project. The inspiration photo has purple in it so, I cut some purple cardstock.

Image

I love that there was a sentiment in the ephemera pack too.  So easy love it.  I glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how this card came it.  I love Bunnies.

You still have time to join us!

I then cut out some etched Flowers Buds from Simon Says Stamp that was cut out in white cardstock.  I then inked it up with Simon Says Stamp Twilight ink and Altenew Jade ink.  I stamped a sentiment with black ink on white cardstock and cut it to fit.  I then glued my flowers onto my card.  I added some card bling and that finishes my card.

Ohhhh how I love their Pissy Kitty Line of Stamps. I had to have this one!!! I love coffee so this stamp was a must have called Curlers and Catitude Pissy Kitty.  I stamped this kitty on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock 80lb. with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  This time I colored with my alcohol markers.  As for my background you can't see on camera but on green Matcha cardstock I used the Polka Dance Background rubber stamp with Gina K Designs White Pigment ink.  I also inked my background around the edges with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink and I cut out my kitty and background using the Deckle and Stitches Nesting Dies. I inked around my kitty too.

Image

I found some pattern paper in my stash Polkadots and inked it up too.  I glued everything to a A2 kraft card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I popped up my pattern paper and kitty with foam tape.  I stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set and inked it also. I placed white paper behind and added a white button brad. Lastly, I added some white gel pen to the mug and eyes of my kitty.  I think it's cute.  I hope you like it.  See you on Day 4!

{BYSHC} Has A New Card Sketch #67 For March 2026

Hello everyone.  Happy March Yay. I'm so excited to have a Holiday card for {BYSHC} Card Sketch 67.  This sketch is a great one. I know I always say that but it's true.  Join us this month to get ahead on your Holiday cards and our sponsor this month is Pajama Crafter Stamps Yay.  You can win a $25 GC.

Image

Image

I love this sketch and how you can use 2 squares and a sentiment and you're done. On my card, I used The Vintage Christmas Card Panels W/Bases & Envelopes from Pajama Crafter Stamps.  I love this set because the quality of the panels, A2 card bases, and envelopes is so good. So easy to make some gorgeous Holiday cards. I actually used 2 panels here from that bundle.  I used a square die to cut one out and layered it on silver glitter paper like the Card Sketch 67 and then cut the other panel to be 4 x 5 1/4 and layered it on gold glitter paper. I love how this card turned it.

Image

My sentiment was stamped and heat embossed from the Citrus & Scarlet Blooms Stamps set with gold WOW embossing powder in Metallic Gold Rich. I then cut my sentiment according to the card sketch.  I then glued all to the A2 card base from the Vintage Christmas Set. So easy and I will have another card to share this month.  I hope you grab this set.  I love how this card turned it.

I hope you join us this month. We love to see your cards and it's a chance to win a GC to Pajama Crafter Stamps.

Inspired By...Leggings

Hello everyone we have a fun New Challenge this week for Inspired by...#IB359 this week it's Leggings and we have a fun sketch too.  Also, if you post on social media, please tag @inspired_by_challenge

Image

Image

I had so much fun with this challenge.  I was inspired by the theme leggings and sketch.  I used a couple of different stamp set and pattern papers from my stash.  I even did some masking and fussy cutting.  I started out with Penny Black Stamps Winter Walk Stamp.  There is this girl walking her dog so I masked to only stamp her pants.  I fussy cut them out and colored them with a black marker to look like black leggings.

Image

I then used Halloween pattern paper from Spellcast 6x6 paper pad by Pink Paislee and cut papers to mimic the sketch.  I also ink blended because I was first going to make a Halloween card since the photo shows Halloween Leggings.  I decided not too but still kept my ink blended cardstock and stamped sentiments from Picket fence Studios Hey Girl using black ink. I love this mini stamp set.  I felt these leggings went with these sentiments LOL.  I glued everything to a gray cardstock panel 4 x 5 1/4 and then glued everything to a A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I had fun making this card and hope it inspired you to try this challenge it's so much fun and you can be announced and your card shown that you are the winner of the challenge.  So great.

Inspired By...Boo Challenge

Hello everyone.  I'm so glad you are here.  We have another challenge for the Inspired by... Challenge #IB357 and this week it's BOO and we also have a fun sketch.

Image

Image

Image

Hello I was inspired by the sketch, pumpkins, sentiment, and of course polka dots. I used a New MFT Stamps set that I just had to have called Turkey Day.  I love this cute Fox.  I love the pink pumpkins in the Inspiration photo so I added some black dots to one of the pumpkins.  I stamped my images onto Hammermill cardstock with black ink and colored them in with my alcohol markers.  I then fussy cut them out and put them to the side to work on my background.

Image

I cut out some polka dot pattern paper from my stash as well as some white cardstock.  I probably could have used a different color so it looked more like the sketch? Oh well.  I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Unity Stamps {Boo} To You stamp set. I cut my papers with my paper trimmer and glued them to a A2 pink card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  That finishes my card.

I hope you'll join the Inspired By...BOO Challenge it's so much fun.  You have about 1 week.  Have fun and I can't wait to see what inspires you!

I invite you to play along, there is a fun color inspiration photo and a sketch.  Of course you can use both..and I can't wait to see how you are inspired!

Image

Image

Without further ado here is my card...

Image

I was inspired by this sketch.  Isn't it fun?  I then decided to go with some Autumn Critters.  I first cut some white cardstock to be 4 x 5 1/4.  I then found this pretty printed vellum paper pack 5.8 x 8.2 that was gifted to me.  So I picked this pretty chevron print with gold that always makes me think of Autumn/Fall.  I cut these strips to 1 inch.  I then cut them in to 1 inch squares.  I knew I needed 12 according to the sketch.

Image

I love this Lawn Fawn stamp called Jump For Joy, it's always so much fun.  I stamped my images on Hammermill cardstock 100 pounds with Memento Tuxedo ink.  I colored them in with my Altenew and Copic Markers. I also used some Catherine Pooler Over Coffee dye ink for the tree branches. I then fussy cut everything out.  I glued my squares to my panel and then rearranged my images.  I stamped a sentiment from the set with Versafine Onyx ink on a piece of white cardstock and then I cut a fishtail with my scissors.  My panel was then glued to a brown A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how this card came out!  I hope I inspired you to give the Inspired By...Autumn Challenge a try.

Image

I love ice cream cones don't you? Yum I think I may get some today. I love chocolate and nuts.  Brownies are good too. I love cones but I do sometimes get ice cream in a cup it's saves me from a dripping mess LOL.  I used Maggie Holmes Carousel Ephemera for this card today.  I think it's fun and I love the colors.  I did not use the sketch this time, I do think it's a fun sketch.

Image

My white panel that was cut out with my paper trimmer is 4 x 5 1/4.  I glued everything to a pink A2 card base 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  I love how happy this card is and it was super simple to put together YAY. I hope I inspired you to try this challenge.
