Tyler Update

Howdy Mates.  Thank you for all your good thoughts for our cousin Tyler.  He has been at the Vets, on a drip and having valium to stops his spasms and shaking.  He seems ok.  

The Vet said poisons like this can affect the liver and it can take days/weeks to be filtered out. When this happens Tyler can become ill and have symptoms again.  One day fine, the next sick.  We are confident he will be fine because he is a strong healthy young man (nearly four years old) and he is wondering what the heck all the fuss is about.

Our two sisters who live at Tyler's house wished they could have valium too!  Nah, not really, well maybe just a little, hehe.  

We will let you know more but we say THANK YOU cause we were pretty scared and it helped A LOT to know Blogville had his back.

The moral of this story is, keep your compost covered if you can, away from the dogs.  The Vet says compost is full of toxins and fungus and is a big no no for doggies.  Tyler, being a labrador, loves his food and in the few minutes before our sissy grabbed him from the neighbours, he must have had a good old feed.  Also the symptoms didn't appear until abour four hours after he had been there.

POTP, Awards, Competitions and a New Friend.

Hi Everybuddy, first off today we want to send our good friend Jake get well wishes.  He had major surgery and has just come home so can everyone please visit and give him the POTP so he gets well soon.  Thanks mates.

Next off, our friend Milo has a new baby brother called Jet who is a little black lab and we say, welcome to Blogville little man.  He is a super sweetie for sure.

Now we must thank Posie (or P-dorg) for awarding us the Liebster Award.  Thanks P-dorg, we think you are special too.  We only met a short time ago but love Posie's blog cause she gives us a smile everytime we visit.

On Wednesday we had a special delivery from Mr Postman.  It was from our friend Rubie.

I (Stella) won her birthday competition (along with others) called Partners n Pals where we had to send in a photo to compare ourselves with something similar.

Howdy Everybuddy, wowza what a great Friday we have had.  It started when Mum and Dad told us they had four days off and didn't have to work.  Yay.  We were having the family over for a BBQ and that sounded good to us.  First though, we went for a walk.

Can I get out now Dad?

A great place for our two to be off lead.  Virtually no car traffic, we get to meet other walkers and their dogs sometimes,

and we can practice their recall.

I came back, can I have a treat?

When Stella gets far enough ahead she always stops and looks for us and I have always said "Good Waiting" and given her a treat when I reached her.  Now as soon as she stops and looks towards us, if I say Good Waiting she comes running back for a treat.  Its going to be funny at obedience when I call out Good Waiting instead of Come hehe.

Possibly Fox pee mail Rory.  I'm not sure.

Dad called out that mum had a hole in her shorts.

She's glad he's still looking at her ar, er rear end after 32 years hehe.

Poor Mr Fox, we don't know how he died.

What the bloomin heck?

Oh yeah baby, I escaped and rolled in cow poo.

It was wonderful, it was fabulous, I bet you are all green with jelly.

It was fresh, soft, squishy and smelt divine.

Someone call the RSPCA.  Totally unfair!

Sigh.
