I was looking through pictures on the camera and realized that September has come and gone and I have a few pictures/events that I never posted about. So, of course, this is going to be a recap of September.
We had the annual Intermountain Healing Hearts Walk this month. We always enjoy walking for a cause that is close to our hearts and catching up with some of our "heart" family friends!
This year, they had a photo booth and it was fun to do some silly family pictures.
Montana went fishing with another heart dad at Butterfly Lake. They were gone all day long and had a blast. Montana brought home a nice sized fish...that I wouldn't let him cook inside since the smell makes me want to throw up!
I was able to can salsa with my mom and applesauce and apple pie filling with a couple of friends from the ward. The apple stuff took us about 12 hours since we were doing enough for all three of us. We had so many apples that we decided to dehydrate the rest and that took one of the ladies another week or so. I'm grateful for the apples that are now in my food storage room but I don't want to can another apple for quite a while.
Montana mows the lawn every week for the elderly lady that lives across the street from us. The boys wanted to help him one week...
Mason helped too but he did it on his own without any help and therefore I didn't snap a picture. I was a little worried that he'd hit a tree or something.
I had the opportunity to go to the Conference Center for the General Relief Society meeting at the end of the month. It was so neat to sit in the same room as the prophet. It was such a nice break from the kids as well. And a wonderful meeting. Next up....General Conference!
And that's the end of this month. We stayed busy, did lots of homework and reading, and had fun!
