 In this year, Palangkaraya is celebrating its 60th years anniversary . For that ,we are Borneo 536 invite all artists & friends to send mail like postcard,
zine, poetry, or anything about Palangkaraya.

The Theme ‘Palangkaraya Batuntur’ itself is taken from 'Dayak Sangen’ language, which mean Palangkaraya Storytelling
with expectations that all friends can tell about Palangkaraya through mail.

Mail art is the art that created by the mail.
The Mails that received are collected from around the world and displayed for three months, July - August
in three places, Rahan untung, Kopihan, and Studio Kurik.
Have fun through the mail!

To : Mail art activist in the world

To introduce mail art in Indonesia ,we, Bantul National Museum (BNM) an independent mini museum in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, invite all of you , mail art activist and mail art lovers, to promote our program, to introduce mail art works in Indonesia, because in Indonesia mail art not popular yet, also information about it .

Half of Young Indonesian artist don’t know about mail art. So, with this program can introducing mail art and even participated in international mail art.

BNM hopes can realized that mail art is one of visual communication that can accepted and understanding to everyone, everywhere without differences. In tis world is contain a lot of races, nations with their own languages, cultures, is for understanding and respectful each other. And visual art is one way to be communicate it.

We have a planning for an exhibition at October 10, 2010 to realized our program.

world with love

An Open call inviting people from all over the world to share your love in a creative visual pieces for an important exhibition at the end of the year held by SRK (SENI RUPA KORAN ) will be exhibited in SOS Gallery, Babakan Siliwangi ( BASIL ) Area as part of a movement to grow and to preserve awareness for Human and Natural Green Area. To Understand Global warming. To let the birds keep singing and our kids to enjoy the beauty of Nature. It will be curated by Bandung artist, Deden Sambas W.A.F

At the end of the Project, all works received will be make as a Multimedia documentary.
