Ouchy!

Zowie had a bit of a rough night yesterday. She got outside without mum knowing, and when she was trying to get our attention to get back in, she snagged her claw on the screen door and tore it. She got back in and was very scairt and freaked out, hissing and stuff, and it got us all worried and also freaked out. Mum had to separate all of us, and then wait for Zowie to calm down.

Zowie is okay. Mum is going to keep an eye on her claw and make sure that it heals properly. It was very scairty, and I hope that it never happens again. Mum knows now not to leave only the screen door open, as it had a tear in the screen that she didn't know about before.

Outside Adventure!

Mum took us outside yesterday, as it was cooler earlier on and just right for us kitties. We had a fun time, but I was scared of the little boy from upstairs as he was loud and he wanted very much to pet us. Pandora and Zowie let him pet them, but not for very long. I went back to my safe spot by the stairs so I didn't have to be petted.

Mum took some photos of us but she had to use her mobile, as she hadn't brought the big flashy box.

Mum also gave us a treat this morning! She gave us some ground rabbit meat. I thought it was super tasty! I ate it all up, then asked for more! Pandora liked it too, and mum kept having to put pieces of it in her dish. Zowie didn't like it though, but mum thinks that she still doesn't think of raw meat as actual food. I hope she will like it because I think it is so delicious!

Outside Part II

Mum took us outside again today!

I got a lot braver and I came out onto the grass with the other kitties. There was lots of nice grass to eat too! It was very sunny and rather hot because of my black fur. I laid in the shady parts mostly, but I did sit at the top of the stairs lounging for awhile too. I went back inside when the lady from upstairs came out with her little baby because I'm not really sure about all that noise it was making.

Mum is very proud of me for being such a brave Mancat today. She gave us extra stinky goodness for dinner as a special treat. Also, Pandora and Zowie are done their medication too. 2 good reasons for a special treat!

And also I wanted to point out the cool new header that mum made for the blog! It has that nice photo of me sitting all gentlemancatly on it!

The Outside

It's really nice out today, so mum took Pandora and Zowie outside. I cried at the front door, so she came back and put my harness and leash on. She knew I was a bit scared of the outside, so she left the door open and let me come out when I wanted to.

I can proudly say that I made it to the top of the stairs! And mum even has a photo to prove it. There were lots of great smells, and there were birds chirping in the trees that I was able to get a better look at.

Pandora and Zowie love the outside. They ate some of the grass, and wandered around sniffing stuff.

Maybe next time I will get even further than just the stairs.
