I've been back from Bali for a week, and I am still wishing I never left, if only for the glorious weather.  Winter, I do not care for you!

Haven't had much time to blog lately, and have been thinking about just shutting it down all together, but I am not quite ready to let it go yet, so I shall see what happens.

Yes I am a BIT obsessed with this Fairground tank dress, but it is pinkish and sparkly and sequinny and there is A PONY on it, yes a pony.  So it is pretty much my best friend in dress form.

emergency black dress...........

This is the best kind of little black dress for any emergency when no other outfit will do. 

I bought this pretty after seeing Camaraderie rocking it and when I saw it on sale I had to have it, which also helped in my cause of becoming just like her. I booked my hairdressers appointment.....

Uh, no summer, you won't be ending...ever!

Some summer time shots. Gosh summer is such a magical time! I have been loving on it so hard core, especially after we installed that second air con!

So Summer, just so you know, you won't be ending. You are going to continue forever so I can wear sparkly pony tanks and go on fun swimmy adventures and sit in the sunshiney sun.

When perhaps I would like to wear a rad new jumper or some other new wintry delight, you are allowed to be SLIGHTLY cooler.  But otherwise, no ending for you Mr Summer, no ending for you.

Happy New Years............

Here are a few snaps of my outfitty on New Years Eve. Unfortunately I made the horrible discovery that sequins are my enemy.  They were cutting up my arms all night! But they are so gosh darn sparkly all I want to do is cover myself in them head to toe, but I also do not want to be all cut up and bleedy...what a dilemma!! Also it was so floaty! It was crazy windy last night, I was flashing people the entire time, including my friends grandparents! Awkward.....It WAS a beautiful dress though.

I spent my new years celebrating the engagement of our absolutely wonderful friends John & Janet.  Super happy for them, they are off on a long travelling adventure and I will miss them very much!!

My new years day has been pretty chilled, spending some time with family and currently drinking wine eating doritos and watching Ship To Shore.  Yes Ship To Shore.  Why is it that all kids tv shows insist on the kids forming some kind of band?  It makes me cringe.

holster x shoes = good sparkly times

Good golly, who doesn't love a ridiculously sparkly foot.  I sure do, feet are not my favourite thing to look at, but if you cover them in sparkly goodness it is a pleasant distraction.  Although beware of magpies. 

I thought I would show you these minus my feet first, so you can really appreciate their beauty, because in a second I will show some photos where my feet are in them and I have silly feet.

These Holster shoes are a magical dream, you can find them here!  I think it's so hard to find sandals in this day and age that are a bit different, I feel like everything looks so similar so its nice to have something a bit unique partying on your feet on hot summer days.

This day I put on my shiny silver nailpolish and then some sparkly nailpolish that looked like it had tiny moons in it.  I like moons.  The one in the sky, Moonface and the movie Moon that I watched last night. It is amazing, go watch it with your eyes right away if you haven't already.

This day I also put on my flowy longsleeved 70's style sheer floral maxi dress, and then promptly spilled dog food on it when I was feeding my Maxie Moo.  It was gross.  I put it in the wash and wore something else.  Don't you hate it when you spill dog food on nice things, I sure do!

firewire hearts unicorns forever and always.................

It was a sad day today.  The beloved Firewire was leaving my work.  On his first day at our work 2 years ago, I decided that he would love unicorns.  So I proceeded to cover his desk in pictures of them and make unicorn themed nametags, no matter how much he tried to protest it's non manliness.  

His name isn't really Firewire, that is the nickname I gave him also, that managed to catch on throughout the whole department....

Here is a picture of the envelope his leaving card was in, I decorated it hardcore unicorn styles.  It was the most magical event......

p.s. Yes that is a unicorn with laserbeam eyes.  Everyone knows that unicorns have laserbeam eyes.

rainbows and birthdays.....

For ANOTHER one of my niece's birthdays... she is 2, her presents were rainbow playdough and crayola a plenty, so I thought it was fitting that she should have a rainbow card... sparkle sparkle..
