Lovely, Lovely Beds

Happy Monday!! (Did the extra exclamation point help--even a little?) Sometimes Mondays remind me that I'm not as young and spry as I used to be. (Using the word "spry" doesn't exactly make me sound young, either.) Every now and again, I do something crazy over the weekend like stay up past midnight (and by "past midnight", I mean 12:30). I swear, it takes me three days to recover. Today is one of those times, and I honestly feel like I need a full day to just sleep. Speaking of sleep, how gorgeous are these beds? I would be totally fine with one of each.  And then taking a good three hour nap in each of them, just to try them out. #inmydreams #nopunintended #whatswiththehashtags #tryingtostayyoung #ish

[color kreyv]: Coral & Yellow

Bet you thought I was going to post about black and white again, didn'tcha? Nope, not today. Today's bright post is brought to you by yellow and coral--two colors that just play splendidly together. Yellow is a tricky one, so I recommend it in small doses. (Just ask my bedroom from 2002 that was painted yellow, then painted tan the very next day.) And now, for my final thoughts regarding yellow: Yellow is like a Jillian Michaels workout.  It makes a big impact, but it is WAY better when when the volume is turned down.

Wait For It...

I'm pretty good with secrets, so I'm not going to give this one away. Let's just say it has something to do with a giveaway. On this very blog. This very week. And it rhymes with Gutting Ledge Pencils. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

[color kreyv]: Coral & Green

I never find cash in my pockets, but know what I did find today? I discovered unused GAP rewards. What to buy? What to buy? They are just a burnin' a hole in my pocket!

In other news, let's discuss coral and green. Apparently, I like it, because I ended up throwing in some green with the coral in Stella's room. It's a little unexpected, but I like it. It's kind of just fresh and happy...and not very common; hence pictures one and two are the same room. I just noticed that, but guess what. It's okay, because I get to go shopping with my newfound rewards! I love free clothes...and I only had to spend 100 times the worth of the rewards to get them...

[color kreyv]: Coral, Black, & Gray

Don't these colors create a great combo? I thought so. Super sophisticated. Want to know something that's not so sophisticated? How about the fact that Stella woke up in the middle of the night, and before I went back to bed, I looked out the window to see how much it had rained. Guess what I saw at FOUR am: My neighbor walking out of his house with a big black garbage bag. Ummmm, creepy. Or just weird. Or both. Nothing to do with coral or gray, but it does have something to do with black, so you've got to give me credit for that.  Plus, I've really just been dying to tell someone. Perhaps I've seen one too many horror movies. I haven't discovered anyone missing. I'll keep you posted.

[color kreyv]: Coral & Mint

I've had this color palette on the mind lately as an option for Stella's room. Little Miss is getting ready to transition to a big girl bed, and of course, I can't just get a new bed. She obviously needs a new room. Her room is so 2.5 years ago, AND I may or may not have a little bit of decor ADD. We'll just blame it on Stella and her needs as a two and a half year old. Don't judge. The hubs seems to be going along with it, so I say let's give the girl a new room.

[color kreyv]: Coral

In the words of Rachel Zoe (so excited it's on again), "Buh-nan-nuhs." Okay, not proud that I quote her, but she does have impeccable style (wish I had her non-budget clothing budget). Regarding the coral: It. Is. A-mazing...beautiful, love it, want it, etc., so forth and so on. And, don't even get me started on the navy/coral combo...and those entry hooks...to die for! If I bought a house today, I would definitely paint the entry coral. For. Sure. Geez, who thought a few pictures could get me so excited?! For that alone, I definitely need more coral in my house. Apparently, it makes me very giddy!
