The Sunday after we got back from Mexico, we were able to go to Burlington (about an hour and a half away) and go to Maddie's Baptism. What a great family Tony and Dana (Sam's sister) have. We love visiting them and enjoy when they come to Billings.

12/18/10 Jackson said he couldn't wait until Christmas, I asked why? He said because of Love and Happiness....:)
3/21/10 In sharing time at primary, the question was asked, "Why didn't the lions eat Daniel in the den?" Maren answered, "Because an Angle made them vegetarians."
9/25/09 I get pulled over for going just a little over the speed limit. The officer was very nice and only gave me a warning, possibly because Jackson aked him if he had a tazer gun. The officer said not yet, but they will be getting them soon. They cost $500.00 each. Jackson asked if they were illegal, the officer said surprisingly no they are not. Jackson said.... Cool can you get me one?
6/28/09 I'm in the kitchen when Aliza comes in and leans over as if to tell me a secret, and says, "Mom, I'm going to tell people you are thirty.......eight, I don't want to say you're forty."
6/6/09 - Sam was hugging Maren and being silly. Maren, with a look of desperation whispered, "Help me"
2/24/2009 Getting ready for school, and being late of coarse, I told Maren to eat breakfast while I combed her hair. She said, "Then I can't say OUCH"
2/23/2009 During dinner, Maren had to take 10 more bites to be done. I, of coarse, had to spoon feed her. In between bites, she would twirl around, then walk back to the chair dizzy. During one time, I told her she is going to get hurt (she almost hit her head on a chair). She came back for her 8th bite, and stumbled, chest first, on the chair. She started crying and cried...".Youhoo wereher right."
1/?/2009---Maren, ready for bed, with a thermometer in hand asked Sam..."Dad, how do you get sick during the night? I don't want to go to school tomorrow?"
1/25/2009--Rubbing baby Judd's head at church, Maren told Laurel.."Hey, your baby's head is bald, just like dad's and uncle Nick's.
1/12/2009--On the way home from school today, I was reminding Sammy that he needed to practice the piano. He proceeded to tell me that he didn't need to practice because when he became a famous Brain Surgeon, he would put a small chip in his brain so he would just know how to play.
12/25/2008 Talking to Grandpa on the phone, we heard Maren say..."I got a baby bottle pop"....(nice, that is candy that was in her stocking.) I'm glad that was her FAVORITE thing she got this year.
11/12/08 Jackson, wearing jeans, tries to look at the little tag on the back pocket and says, "Are these Nephi jeans?" (meaning Levi jeans) :)
9/6/08 Maren was getting ready to take a bath. There were a few hairs in the tub and wanted me to get them out before we started the water. At the end of the bath, while I was getting her out she said, "There were still a few hairs in there, but I delt with it"
9/6/08 After the bath, wrapped in her towel, I sat there and hugged her for a little while, rocking her back and forth nice and quiet. After about a min. she said, "Can we be done now? I'm getting you all wet. You were rocking me like a baby, you don't want me to grow up yet huh?"
8/08 While at Glacier, and just getting done looking at Jackson Glacier, Maren asked if they named the glacier after Jackson, or if we named Jackson after the glacier.
8/08 Jackson was out riding the motorcycle. Some girls were walking by and Jackson decided to do a "cookie" to impress them and fell. He was very embarraced
6/22/08 Maren was very upset Sunday morning because I wouldn't let her wear two different shades of pink with two completely different patterns (dress and headband) I told her she had to match. She stomped her foot and said, "Why do we have to match?!"
5/22/08 Jackson saw an engraved name (William Clark from Lewis and Clark expedition) written in July, 1806 on Pompeys Pillar (a big rock hill) and said "How did he know cursive writing?"
4/23/08 After helping me put all the ingredients in for the peanut butter cookies, Maren told the kids "These cookies are the best! They have sugar in them!"
4/21/08 Sammy was talking about something, (I can't remember what) and Maren asked what it was. I told her to think about it to figure it out. Maren said, "I don't know how to think".
4/16/08 I'm not feeling well at all. The kids even had to put themselves to bed. Sam walks in the room and Jackson says "Dad, this is your lucky day, mom is sick, you don't have to kiss her."
3/5/08 "Dad's breath stinks, but you can still talk to him." Maren was in bed with us in the A.M. Jackson came in to say something to Sam.
After second time ever down the ski hill, (I'm in front of her, backwards, to help her not get out of control), Maren says, "Get out of my way mom, your too slow."
Maren (4) told Jackson (9) after Jackson bothered her, "When I grow up, I'm going to hit you!"
