About the Challenge

This year, Tech Horizons Club (THC) is back with another exciting hackathon - the Box Box Hackathon, inspired by the fast-paced world of Formula 1.

Formula 1 is one of the most technologically advanced and data-driven sports in the world, generating massive amounts of data and strategic insights every race. However, for many fans, the viewing experience can still feel passive and limited in terms of interaction and deeper understanding.

In this hackathon, participants will build innovative digital solutions that enhance the Formula 1 fan and viewing experience using technology, data, and creative ideas. The official problem statement will be revealed at the start of the event.

The hackathon will be followed by a live screening of the Miami Grand Prix, bringing participants together to enjoy the race after building their solutions.

Requirements

What to Build

Participants will develop an innovative digital solution related to Formula 1 and the fan experience. The exact challenge problem statement will be revealed at the start of the hackathon, so teams should be prepared to think creatively and build quickly once the event begins.

Your project should focus on creating a technology-driven solution that enhances how fans engage with, understand, or experience Formula 1

Participants are free to use any programming language, frameworks, or technologies. Projects may include web applications, mobile apps, data-driven platforms, visualization tools, AI/ML solutions, simulations, or other innovative concepts.

Teams should aim to build at least a working prototype or proof of concept that demonstrates the core idea and functionality of their solution.

To complete your submission on Devpost, teams must include the following:

  1. Project Title and Description
A clear explanation of your project, including the problem you addressed and how your solution works.

  4. Project Details
Information about the technologies, frameworks, and tools used to build your project.

  5. Live Demo (Optional but Recommended)
