Cate learned how to feed herself. And boy, does she love to do it! Oatmeal is a favorite.
The kids started back to school on August 7. Sander was so, so excited to begin kindergarten. He proved that all of my fears over whether he would be ready (he is still 4 years old in his picture--he turned 5 in September) were completely unfounded as he proceeded to amaze his teachers and his parents with his ability to follow directions and work hard. He loves kindergarten!
Classic Elizabeth face... now that the older kids are in school, we get to spend way too much time together.
Our HOA put on a Summer Festival in a neighborhood park on August 11, and the kids had a great time.
These huge bubble races were intriguing enough to Abby and Sander that they waited in line for an hour in order to participate. Thankfully, this was a day when we remembered the sunscreen.
