Description
What problem does this address?
When viewing the first or last post, adding a Next Post or Previous Post block currently shows nothing on the frontend. This can be confusing, as it feels like the block isn’t working. It would be better if some fallback or disabled text was shown to indicate that no next or previous post exists.
What is your proposed solution?
Display a muted fallback text (like “Next” or “Previous”) when no adjacent post is available. This way, users can clearly see that the block has been inserted, even if there is no post associated to it.
Steps to reproduce
- Add a new post
- Add the
Next PostBlock to it - Save the post and check the frontend
- Notice that the Next text is not rendered on the frontend
- Try the same with
Previous PostBlock on the last post
