What I'm up to right now.
Last update January 2nd, 2026.
Projects 🛠️
My Home Lab got a major revision and I'm working on a new storage server. I've written about self-hosting as a concept and some service I now run.
I'm learning Kubernetes with all bells and whistles. Coming from HashiCorp Nomad so it's not that new but extensive.
I've started hosting my own mail server which handles mails to one of my personal mailboxes. I learnt a lot about SMTP/IMAP protocols, reverse proxys with raw TCP connections and high availability.
Working on Streamfinity which we launched in summer 2024.
Work 💼
Switched to enum in Jan 2026 (from Wunder Software) to help build a sovereign german cloud provider!

I've recently switched to LazyVim after using Vim Motions in PHPStorm and Zed. What a journey...

Apps & Tools ❤️
Some apps and tools I've recently discovered. You can read more about my 2025 top macOS apps here.
Anybox: A bookmark manager and link collection with native Mac and iOS apps, integrated into the browser. I'm using Anybox to collect links to interesting articles, helpful online tools and cooking recepcies.
NetNewsWire: I was late to the RSS party but I'm loving it! No algorithmic timeline, just articles and blog posts of websites I'm interested in.
Ghostty: Most hyped terminal in history probably but totally worth it!
Kagi Search: A paid but awesome alternative to Google search, with actualy privacy and good results.
I'm still on macOS on a Macbook M2 Pro. Using Neovim (through LazyVim) btw.
