    It’s kids’ first day at Waypoint Academy, the new outdoors-based Alpha School. They do their AI-powered academics in two hours, then spend the rest of the day exploring and learning outside. I couldn’t be more jealous.

    My daughter is 7 and she is starting GT Anywhere which is the online arm to Alpha school. Excited for her but also very nervous! She is enrolled in a cooking class this semester so she is excited about learning that as well. Coolest thing about it is 2 hours a day of

    Today’s WSJ front page shows a kid crying as he heads back to school. Meanwhile, my kids are counting the days until Alpha School starts here in the South Bay of LA in September. And, tonight, they start a three day Founders Weekend where they launch their own business.
