    Hall of Famer Pat Gillick was born on August 22, 1937. With Gillick as GM, the Jays recorded 11 consecutive winning seasons (1983 to 1993), captured five division titles (1985, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993) and won two World Championships (1992, 1993).
