- The sky continues to fall, pitchers will be next…Wake Forest catcher Matt Conte has entered the transfer portal. Conte was the starting catcher in 2026 and was set to be the only returning backstop for Tom Walter’s squad. Now they’ll have to go looking for multiple catchers.
- The beginning of the endPerhaps the biggest loss yet. Andrew Costello was seen as a sure fire starter next season for Wake Forest. That now makes two rising sophomore starters who have transferred out of Wake Forest. Duece has had a very strong Summer so far with Bourne.
