- I'm not suggesting that we shouldn't have a policy. I'm suggesting that we are creating unsafe situations with the policy that is meant to protect our athletes.The heat policy is dumb. I understand wanting to protect athletes, but u have weeks where u can't practice outside at all or if u can, you're limited to 1 hour of outside practice with no equipment, then a player is expected to play a game on Friday regardless of the heat.
