There is no ‘we'll keep an eye on it’. No second chance once it gets away from you. Once a fire escapes, it can destroy wildlife, landscapes, homes and livelihoods, and put firefighters in danger. One spark. Thousands of acres. Don't be the person who starts it.

Make sure your voter registration details are up to date. Being registered means you can vote in future elections and can help when applying for credit or a mortgage. Every Cornwall household will receive a letter or email asking you to confirm who lives at your address.

A wildfire near the Tamar Bridge is affecting visibility. If you’re crossing, slow down and stay focused. Don't stop to take photos. If you encounter smoke, increase your following distance and close windows. Follow emergency services and Tamar Crossings staff instructions.
