    BREAKING: Football will have a Super 8 tournament starting at the end of the 2027 season. The MIAA Board of Directors adopted the proposal 12-2.

    Shrewsbury principal Todd Bazydlo is presenting the Super 8 proposal to the board right now. Says that the "Public vs. Private" element was discussed by the subcommittee during the creation of the proposal, but found addressing that created "too many moving parts."

    MIAA Board of Directors VP Charlie Conefrey says the association's Finance Committee voted to approve the Super 8 proposal this morning. Another hurdle crossed for the proposal. Really just up to the board now.
