- Interesting note I picked up in the Double-A Springfield vs. NW Arkansas game last night. 2021 first round pick Frank Mozzicato threw 4-out-5 fastballs at 96+ mph last night. Just to be sure I checked w/ the TM, it’s legit. Based on data, his career high was 95.3 mph Aug 1st
- If Josh Baez homers twice and Ricky Tiedemann works a perfect inning I’m officially the commissioner of baseball.
- Jarlin Susana struck out two batters in the first inning here in Hudson Valley. He sat 101-103 mph, had one two-seamer at 103 mph w/ 20 inches of run. Threw one sweeper at 89 mph w/ 15 inches of horizontal. P.S. This gun is 8 years old and I’ve never gotten 103 mph before.
