- Three things: 1. This is a mess of the NCAA’s making. 2. I expect a ton of state-by-state injunctions to pop up in the next week to bypass the Colorado blanket waiver. 3. Please just get me to November and tell me who can play or not so we can talk about basketball in peace.
- One freshman garnering some buzz this summer? Michigan State’s Carlos Medlock Jr. Super skilled shot-maker who is so competitive. I like the idea of Michigan State playing Medlock and Jeremy Fears Jr. together to try and lower a turnover rate that drove Tom Izzo nuts last year.
- Needle-mover for BYU, if eligible. Rob Wright, Collin Chandler, Bruce Branch and Jaxon Kohler is a quartet that can play with anybody.BREAKING: Michigan State transfer Jaxon Kohler tells me that he has committed to BYU. Averaged 12.5 PPG and 8.9 RPG last season. Kohler is pursuing a fifth year and is currently eligible following the preliminary injunction in California.
