- Random side note: MLB vets using Spring Training as just training is an earned privilege that does not apply to most. ST for many nowadays is about battling for a roster spot. Balancing development vs. performance in ST is often an overlooked challenge for non-established players1/ Pitch design doesn’t take as long as you think to get results. Most athletes don’t even start new phases until a few weeks before report date. MLB vets? They know spring training is exactly that—training. 🧵
