- This is wild. I was an English Lit major at a small liberal arts school, and even the two post-colonial profs assigned actual English lit. - I actually stopped our mail carrier (a young white dude with a ponytail, tie-dye t-shirt, and a dad hat) after he drove past my box when the flag was up. When I explained what the flag means, he rolled his eyes and said basically the same thing as below.Went to my @USPS office about my outgoing letters not getting picked up. The clerk got my letter-carrier on the phone, and she said she doesn’t bother to pick up unless she’s got mail to deliver. At first, I thought there might be some possibility of fixing this problem. But no.
