Claude lately: random downgrades, obvious nerfs, occasionally smart but consistently braindead, 5-hour limit burned by one small task, and rate-limits everywhere. GPT 5.6 Sol just quietly gets the same work done. Slow, but relentless 🙂 K3 and GLM 5.2 are surging.

The guy who built Qwen (600M+ downloads) left Alibaba. Parting thesis: "training models -> training agents." His argument: agent RL needs better environments, not better data. I've felt this. Once agents can call tools, they find every shortcut you didn't block.

Sakana's Fugu puts a multi-agent pipeline behind one OpenAI-compatible API. You don't wire the graph. It figures out who does what. 73.7 on SWE-Bench Pro (their numbers). I've burned too many hours plumbing agent coordination that breaks when you swap a single node.
