Rookie kicker Trey Smack was perfect for the Packers last night, easily connecting right down the middle on all four kicks including two 50+ yarders with plenty of extra distance. Solving the field goal issues of the past would be a huge boost for Green Bay

Mike Washington Jr had another really promising showing. After the highest yards after contact run of the entire league in preseason week 1, he followed it up with another huge YAC run this week. All his touches from last night vs the Texans:

Mendoza did not have much production in the under center pass game last night. Some of these plays he was quickly under duress, and a few drops were clearly not his fault. Better than the box score indicated. All Mendoza dropbacks against the Texans:

Down 17-3 in the 2nd, my win probability is going to favor going for it on 4th and 7 from the +42. Would have liked to see Mendoza get a chance in a really high leverage moment. And for some teams, attempting the 60 yard field goal is a solid option now (Cowboys, Jaguars)
