Observation #20 - Ravens at Vikings: Vikings lose in a glorified scrimmage. Plenty looked good, especially on D. These games are brutal to watch after HT. KOC saw what he needed to. While Brandel did not play today, we need a Center. This team has talent, in tough North.
Observation #19 - Ravens at Vikings: KOC clearly was evaluating QBs today, so the run/pass balance is 65% pass. In general, the run game showed little with the 2nd team OLine (few holes). We have to hope the team is closer to 55/45 or 60/40 pass/run during the season.
Observation #16 - Ravens at Vikings: The numbers at RB are tough, with Jones, Mason and Claiborne as locks, but Zavier Scott is a good back. He has speed, can make people miss and as a college WR, he is a good receiver out of the backfield
Observation #18 - Ravens at Vikings: Myles Price and Tai Felton have alleviated fears of the WRs beyond the Vikings top 3. Both did little on the offense last year & both look veery active, reliable and able to get open. Vikes are 5 deep at the position & some for practice sqd.
Observation #17- Ravens at Vikings: Human interest- You'd expect Kyler Murray to be hanging out with his WRs or other QBs, but today on the sidelines, I saw him twice in conversation with Punter Johnny Hekker. Murray is the 10th oldest on the roster, so maybe some AARP talk!
