when creating coding agents, here's a nice UX to have: add a "description" field to your tool definitions so your LLM can populate that on every tool call. then use it to display what the agent is doing in your UI. you can still let the user see the actual command or tool used

added a feature to edit custom prompts directly in tau's TUI. you can open the prompts panel with /prompts and edit your own. this is one of the few divergences from pi. it remains at the TUI level.
