The Trump admin has taken—or is moving to take—ownership in 31 private companies. That isn't "how you stop socialism." It's closer to textbook socialism than anything we've seen from recent administrations. Would've been nice if the host had asked about that.

Vance: I think what is so unique and refreshing about Donald Trump's economic policy is that it is not the same old economic ideas you would have heard 30 or 40 years ago. This is how you stop socialism. You don't stop socialism by throwing slogans at people about the free

I'm sorry, I can't get over this. The most powerful person on earth is using the full force of government to jail a 67-year-old over an error his *own administration* oversaw. It is the epitome of government "weaponization." Mind-blowing hypocrisy. It's unconscionable.

BREAKING WSJ: Trump White House officials have asked the Trump Justice Department to consider a new prosecution of David Hearn, the man accused of vandalizing the Reflecting Pool — as Trump fumes over U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's decision to drop the case.

I don't see how anyone can argue with this. Normal people simply do not speak this way. They don't talk about "birthing people" or "the unhoused" or those who are "differently abled." It's not convincing anyone. It just makes you sound like an alien.

Presented without comment: Andy Beshear advising Democrats to stop using terms like "justice involved population." Francesca Hong using the term "people who are justice impacted." Both interviews from Pod Save America.
