    The Timberwolves are projected to move to the Eastern Conference in 2028-29, which coincides with NBA expansion. With Las Vegas and Seattle being added, Minnesota would flip to the East. Minnesota becomes perennial Finals contenders during the prime years of Anthony Edwards.

    The NBA and YouTube are now deep in negotiations about simulcasting almost all of their games for $1+ billion beginning in 2027-28, per @SBJ. It would launch with 20-25 teams, then jump to the entire league’s local broadcast teams once deals are put into place across the board.
