Getting old in this industry is hard. You gotta figure out how to turn your experience into value. You don't have the energy or lack of priorities to put in the time you used to. You both can't and also don't want to burn the candle at both ends. And I think that's healthy. But

I'm not abandoning team go. Team rust is tempting, it might be a mistress, but I'm dedicated to go. It's because I primarily love backend systems. Go is the best language for that and AI agrees with me.

I believe so strongly in open source just from the perspective that no one can claim ownership of ideas and knowledge. The more we share, the more we benefit. "We" is the key word.
