- frantically trying to find the scrubs I got out of the machine in intern year and never used so I can “check out” from my institution just to re-onboard (at the same institution) for fellowship
- boy are a lot of hit dogs hollering. this is a biological fact and nowhere in this post did Dr. Vater say no one should work nights or call, or that training shouldn’t be rigorous or that it’s realistic to aim for all of us to get ten uninterrupted hours of sleep every nightMedical students need sleep. Resident doctors need sleep. Fellows need sleep. Seasoned practitioners need sleep.
